Located between the Armor and Argoat (the coastal and inland areas of Brittany), 20 minutes drive from Guingamp or the beaches of the Pink Granite coast, our region extends a warm welcome to visitors.

The Belle-isle-en-terre region covers a relatively small area characterised by rivers, forests, small welcoming villages, fascinating chapels and sunken lane footpaths ideal for walks.
In the heart of the forest or near the babbling of the river Leguer you’ll come across those who love nature, hiking, fishing, our local heritage, traditional festivals, or quite simply the genuine Brittany.

None of which prevents our region from being extremely lively, and from having a full calendar of varied entertainment: contemporary & “blues” music events, religious “pardons” & processions, “fest-noz” & “fest-deiz” (night and daytime music & dance events), shows, village fairs, sporting fixtures, concerts, the Breton wrestling championship (“gouren”), guided walks, nature trips…
