The Forest & Countryside center is first and foremost a centre offering nature discovery breaks centred on the forest and countryside, heritage breaks, thematic holidays ( nature, tales and legends, archaeological….), events and thematic excursions open to everyone, as well as courses in music and the Breton language.

The centre has been officially recognised as a Departmental Countryside Centre, and adheres to a charter whose goals are raising public awareness of preserving the natural heritage of the department, and working towards the creation of eco-areas.

The centre organises Nature excursions aimed at the general public throughout the year. The complete programme of excursions can be downloaded from the “Events” page.

The La Chapelle-Neuve Departmental Forest & Countryside Centre was created in 1984. It is officially recognised by the Departmental “Youth & Sports” organisation, by the DDASS, and the National Education system. Since March 2003, it has also been recognised by the DRAC.

Number of places : 57 beds. The centre is a legal association
